Overview

After the success of The Grand Depart for the Tour de France, in Yorkshire, Sir Gary Verity launched The Tour de Yorkshire. Each year ooo’s of millions of pounds are generated from tourism, due to this remarkable event and every year it attracts record crowds.

Safety, for spectators and competitors is paramount and 3 years ago the team organising the Tour de Yorkshire introduced the only 4 sided screen vehicle, ever built, to assist and support the rolling road block. This 4 sided (Quad Screen), is the last vehicle in the race convoy, it colossal size and distinguished appearance and the message, “Roads now Open”, inform officials and spectators that it’s safe to use the public roads.

In addition to the front and rear screens carrying safety messages, the two side screens measuring 40 sq m’s, display iconic images of Yorkshire amazing destinations. This iconic mobile digital display vehicle now plays the most important part, it’s not often we would be proud to say that we are happy being last.
